As we were driving to Oakland we notice is strange bridge crossing over the Columbia River the tarp on it and it seemed rather odd to have a tarp covered bridge so we decided to drive across it. Today. It was really need to go across the bridge never seen before so we took a couple of pictures and we guessed that the reason might be because the chain link that was behind snacking too many birds for the tarp solve the problem. When we got to the other side of the bridge we noticed a fruit stand and stopped there
we bought a flat of blackberries that we would pick up on the way back through tomorrow, and a pound of cherries that would make sure stopped at the next three rest areas.
As we drive back through the bridge we see a sign that gives a number to call for more information. I call the number.
it goes to voicemail for "Columbia River Area Engineering" so I leave a message asking for information about the "tarped bridge project" and I leave my name and number and request a call back. It would seem strange to have someone call me back but it would be interesting. Perhaps I will lose interest though when I am no longer in "river mode" and I will just say yeah, yeah but I am working.
